Azapiko Project
Azapiko is a large-scale project located south of Thessaloniki, near the Kassandreia Peninsula in Greece. The total
investment for the project is approximately €3.4 billion. The project covers an area of around 1,700 hectares
and is designed as a fully serviced, year-round urban resort destination.
The main goal of Azapiko is to create a high-quality environment that combines tourism, residential living, and leisure
facilities. The concept focuses on providing premium services and modern infrastructure while maintaining an exclusive
atmosphere with only four- and five-star hospitality services.
Structure
The Azapiko project is divided into six main functional areas:
Urban Concept
The entire is organized into six interconnected districts, each with its own unique character and facilities:
Year-Round Destination
Unlike seasonal resorts, Azapiko is a year-round serviced urban destination. Most services and facilities operate throughout the year, supporting both tourists and permanent residents.
Some facilities may operate seasonally due to their specific nature. For example, the golf courses may host international tournaments, and the sea aquarium may occasionally close for animal care, maintenance, and technical operations.
Premium Concept
The strategy of Azapiko focuses exclusively on high-quality services and infrastructure. Therefore, the project does not include low-budget accommodation or services. All hotels belong to the four- and five-star category, ensuring a premium experience for residents and visitors.
Certain infrastructure elements such as parking areas, helicopter landing zones, and some sports facilities are designed mainly to support the attractiveness and functionality of the destination rather than to generate direct financial returns.
